Winter Hiking

We decided to take advantage of the (relatively) nice weather today (read: not raining) and go for a hike in Forest Park. We got to try out the new baby backpack- it worked great (Jack loved it so much, he fell asleep). We love winter hiking around Portland. The only drawback is the mud. Macy was so caked with it that we decided to swing by a self-wash dog place on our way home. The mango-tango shampoo smelled really good and the conditioner left her coat soft and shiny, but we're not sold on the place yet at $20 a pop. We didn't even get to take full advantage of the services- Macy freaked out when we got the hair dryer out! What a wimp!
